You can meet our dogs many ways. Whether you find them online, at an adoption event or know the foster, the first step to adopting from us is to fill out an application. We want to get an understanding of you, your family and why you think you would be the perfect home for one of our dogs.   

From there, your application is screened by a team of volunteers to ensure that the dog will be the right fit for your home. If your application is approved, we will then schedule a home check. If you have another dog, a time will also be scheduled to introduce them to ensure they get along. If your home check is approved and you are confident that this dog is perfect for you, we will begin the final stages of adoption. All you have to do is pay the adoption fee, and voila! You have a new member of the family. 

It will take some time for your new dog to feel comfortable enough to show its true personality. This is why we offer a foster-to-adopt program. After your home check is approved, we will ask for the adoption fee (which will be held until the adoption is final) before releasing the dog into your care. We offer a maximum of two weeks for adjustment and evaluation, though that time fluctuates with each dog. We want your dog to be as comfortable with you as you are with it.   

If your dog fits well with your family, just let us know and the dog would be yours! If it does not work out, we would take back the dog with no repercussions and your adoption fee would be refunded. Before a foster to adopt, we encourage potential adopters to visit with the dog as much as possible, to introduce it to all family members (including other fur-kids) and to ask the dog's foster lots of questions.
